Text keeps disappearing in Comments

It's so strange. When I try to post comments the words I type disappear. It's fine here but not on others posts.What the heck. ?????
This is happening on my phone BTW

It happens on my phone sometimes, too. So frustrating. I've pretty much given up trying to use the phone here. If I try to use autofill or predictive text it just ends up being gobbledygook, so it's really cumbersome to type anything, because using autofill is so automatic that I don't realize I'm doing it and have to go back and correct almost all the words.

It's been happening go me for many months. That and doubling words. And locking up mid typing and then I have to wait several seconds for the words to appear. And not to mention that autocorrect only works in edit mode, not when I'm posting. This site is a mess for many reasons; you'd think that a company whose whole business is its web site would prioritize getting its web site to work properly, but whatever. I like being here so I put up with it.

They sent the wrong color part because they keyed in wrong model number. so we got part for black range, not SS. They said they would send out correct one but never did. My husband has spent YEARS (it seems) on hold trying to get them to send out SS part with numbers on it. Finally got someone who knew what they were doing to talk to him today. Had to practically begin process all over again but they saw their error and say they will send out SS part. Hope so…but who knows? If they would only send out new set of decals for these appliances it would be far easier and less expensive for LG. I’d be willing to pay for a couple sets since my range is only 7 months old. Since I did not scrub the numbers on my range to begin with, the new part may not hold up either. Doubt water alone will remove grease spots or spatters. :(

I think you may have hit the "insert" key. It is a toggle on/off. Hit it again and see if that helps.

It doesn't surprise me they disappeared. In addition to the now filtered words (although still blatantly obvious as to their spelling and meaning), there was nothing remotely funny about either, let alone 'hilarious'. Unless you find demeaning celebrities is a source of great humor. I find them both to be quite offensive.........something one would expect to see on a sleazy facebook page but not in a (hopefully) more sophisticated and moderated setting.

Tidewater Elf is one of the most robust daylilies in the garden. Zombie Dust's pattern is not showing today. This is its first year to bloom so I don't know if it ever shows much pattern. The color is lighter than it is described in the database. I have to post Empire of Dawn and Dusk today. I have posted this in previous years. It is a future registration hopefully. The bud count and branching have improved dramatically this year. Bud counts are as high on some scapes as 30. It also show instant rebloom. The color is a little pinkish today. The seedling Queen is Lady Stephanie Victoria Redding X Tet. Rose F. Kennedy. I posted her sibling the other day. It is a softer color and more rounded in shape. The seedling Princess is Daddy's Heart X Spacecoast Perfect Angel. We hope this is a future introduction. It is a small flowered tet. It has a metallic gold edge. It started out slow this spring but has been growing well now. I hope this post doesn't disappear. Nancy

I have the same problems as FOAS. Sometimes zimwill type my comment in Notes, copy it and then paste it here so I dont have the lag, double words and lack of predictive text. Ive never had things disappear, though.

I quit using my phone to do anything here. I use my laptop 99% of the time anyway, but if I have my phone on and a pic I want to share, I use my phone. Trying to type is impossible, so I gave up.

Me too. Yes, only here - no where else on the entire internet. I turned off predictive text and that has stopped the space bar from eating my words. I just turn it back on everywhere else because it's a useful thing. Takes me forever to reply here though. 🙄 I like to dictate replies....but we have seen upthread how well that works here.

Only on my phone, where the url is gardenweb.com. But that’s okay, if I post something incoherent at 2am, I can blame it on the glitch. I guess I’ll just stick to sharing my wee-hours Wordle and Canuckle scores, no typing.

This just recently started happening to me too. I found when i use my phone if i type a word if i then hit the predictive text word, it's okay. Time consuming though.

I’ve found if the speed of typing slows way down, I mean if there is a delay in text appearing as you type, if you hit the done button, then start typing again, it fixes it.
