Canned or Tinned Fish

Normally I’m reading Bloomberg for market or economic news, but this caught my eye.

The issue with canned fish would be over fishing, I think. On the West Coast, we crashed sardine populations a couple times, most famously in the era captured in the Steinbeck novel ”Cannery Row”. However, it is possible to buy sustainable canned fish.

I eat quite a bit of canned fish, mostly tuna or sardines. The tuna in sandwiches, the sardines straight from the can, typically for lunch. It isn’t exactly cooking, and I’m in a bit of a rut.

What interesting things do you do with tinned fish?
