If you are going to order it here, at the link below, it says it's 8'8" x 13'. Just by looking at it on the site, it appears that North and South America are approx in the middle, so they'd be approx. 6.5 feet in from either end. Can you use that to plot where your window might end up in the overall map? If the window is centered on the wall, you're going to loose a lot of that area. If your room is shorter than 13 feet long, you could try to position the map so you'd have the part you like best away from the window, and then cut off the excess on one end.
