Cannot even get a good look at what is there.

Cannot see much of what that is, but from I can see it does not look like granite. I see uniform striations or striping that look man-made.

As others said cannot see anything as the stone goes, but it looks like you wearing crocs.

@E Ktz - there are many black granites. The name is unimportant as granite names can vary all over the place. The granite called Absolute Black is very well known and commonly found. Just go to a few stoneyards and tell them you want a solid black or charcoal granite, and they will show you several. Make sure they are reputable stoneyards. There are stones being sold as Absolute Black that are not, and have been impregnated with black dye to look like Absolute Black and in order to fetch the price of Absolute Black.
