Why not detecting my own Wi-fi Networks

last modified: 3 years ago

An old Windows 10 Toshiba Satellite Laptop is not detecting my Wi-Fi networks at home even when I move the laptop from its typical room into the other rooms, including the room where the router resides. It does detect other networks that I assume are my neighbors'.

An old Amazon Tablet with Wi-Fi works fine in the same spots although, the tablet is not detecting the network in the kitchen anymore like it previously did.

I think, but I am not sure, that there was a recent Windows Update to the PC Laptop before this problem occurred.

There have been no changes done to the Linksys EA8500 Router.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Luis
