Eld, on my way to the gym I pass a fallen tree that has a new one growing out of the trunk too...amazing to see.

Eld, I had a mesquite tree in my yard like that. It was taken down by a hurricane and we left most of the trunk, it was an interesting 'sculpture'. But then another hurricane ruined the new 'trees' growing from it when they were only about 10 ft. tall, so they were mostly removed and it is back to just the old trunk.

Katlan, i just got rid of this television from my mother’s house. Took two big guys to lift it.

My parents had one that was three times as wide, circa 1952. The middle was the TV (B&W). One side had a radio behind doors with storage below, and the other side was a bar cabinet, with places for glasses and bottles. Solid mahogany, and all the sections had doors. When they first got married, it was to a fifth-floor walkup apartment. Think about it!

We had a huge console tv when we first married, c.1964. Best thing about it was the hidden (in the backside) switch to turn it off/on , separate from the one on the front. Don't know why it existed, but when the kids were young and I figured they had watched enough tv, I could switch it off and they never figured out why the tv wouldn't work when they used to front button. =)
