What's the best 'standard size' fridge?
Comments (5)I highly recommend the KA 4 door refrigerator. I will be getting one to put in the new house. The pantry drawer is huge and it has a 10 year warranty on some parts. You don't see that everyday! They look sharp especially the black, but I'll probably get the stainless to match the other appliances. If you would like some technical data that I got, email me....See MoreFor $3000, what FD 36", standard size fridge would you buy?
Comments (4)We have an LG FD that is about 7 years old. Unless their quality has vastly improved, I would not buy another LG. The interior plastic is very flimsy and does not stand up to normal usage by a two person household. Also, on one of the doors the door plastic clip (impossible to replace) that holds the door shut has now broken off so the door does not shut tightly without an extra push. And, I need to remember to do give the extra push since the broken clip also causes the beeper reminder about the door being open not to work....See Morestandard size for negative sink reveal?
Comments (5)I don't know if there is actually a standard. I think you can basically choose any size you want--and there are disadvantages to having it too big. A half inch on all sides closes up your sink quite a bit, and is a big area for gunk to collect on. But even if one were to choose a half inch, it should be consistent all the way around! It shouldn't be less than a quarter in some places! That is just sloppy work on their part! I think you could ask them to redo it. I wanted a slight negative reveal-just enough to hide the caulk. So I specified 1/16th. Mine seems to be consistent all the way around. Francy...See MoreWhat are standard window sizes?
Comments (5)By standard window sizes, we are saying window sizes that fits most of the openings of most buildings. To turn it another words, you could be easier to get them in most of windows manufacturers, not only spend more money to look for customized size windows. If your home is a new construction, most of windows are likely in standard sizes. Or you could check on our blogs of standard window sizes to check if your windows are in standard sizes. Hope this makes sense....See Moresnappity
