Gray siding darker than the roof, brown wood-tone shutters darker than the gray, and white trim. Nailed it!

How old is the roof? Can you wait on the siding? or is it damaged? If you can wait and choose both at the same time, that would be best. More color options then

I think you need to look at the taupes. your yellowish siding color seems to be fighting with your roof but using a color that has some red in it will be more harmonious. You can go lighter or darker depending on your preference.

Taupe as suggested by mojavemaria is a good suggestion but I might add that a pale sage green might also work. The desert sand shingles seem to have a bit of red in them. Thank might coordinate with a pale sage green.

I agree with the pale green to complement the pinkish tone of the roof. That looks like a lovely wooded setting and pale green would look at home.

Couldn't do a visual of the entire house but show 2 sections that gives an idea of the look. I researched your roof shingles because the photo didn't really match the colour name you gave. I think the dark grey with white trim, with or without shutters, would give your house a very nice updated look with the existing roof shingles as well as leaving many options open for when you're ready to redo the roof.

Agree a pale gray/green would work well with your roof color. Though this roof is gray, you can see how the siding color looks with the color of the small patio area...similar to how your roof color looks.

I simply use PowerPoint, find images of what I have in mind and put together a visual. I can also do shapes and match colours depending on what's needed. I thinks that James Hardie has a visualizer but I couldn't get started.
