Gallery Wall help/Advice kitchen/dining area??
Comments (2)I like your idea of an accent wall, as long as it doesn't compete with the art work. This post might get more responses on the Home Decorating forum (especially with the paint/wallpaper style question) or the Smaller Home forum. They will really appreciate your creative use of space...and Smaller Homes is a slower forum and questions stay on the first page longer :)...See MoreLiving room wall help!
Comments (14)Beverly - i love the way this looks. The peach pillows are likely going back upstairs to a guest room - we just have them down until i find something that I like (I’ve been having a hard tome finding the right shade of green/blue to compliment the walls without being too warm or cold). The reason we have the console table behind the couch is for drinks, books, etc. I should have mentioned we have a baby who is just starting to walk so wanted a piece to help keep things out of reach but still provide functionality. I do love the way it looks it the corner - I’ll have to measure and see if it’ll fit... it’s quite long. I love the gallery art; my first idea was to do black and white family photos in a grid about that size (all same size and color frames). Do you think this would look as good as the colorful artwork there? Where would i move the storage ottoman in this arrangement?...See MoreWall art in living room.. Help!!
Comments (10)I like your space and love that big plant! You could put a chair, with front feet on the rug, between the book cases and the TV stand. That would be both a nice place to read and also would make a nice conversational seating arrangement. I would also put a single larger piece of art on the wall between the book case and the TV. I think multiple pictures / gallery would be too busy next to the mirrors. I don't love the lamp so close to the lowest mirror so I might be inclined to move it closer to the book case or elsewhere in the room. Hope you'll share pictures as you continue working on the room. It's a very pretty space....See MoreNeed help with an odd accent wall in open dining/living room
Comments (1)Valspar has identified coordinates for Pale Bloom. Choose one of the darker colors for the stair wall. Be aware that the wall and your kitchen cabinets are going to abut visually, so choose both colors carefully. I like the third box...the Navaho but darker color on the strip with the green for stair wall. https://m.valsparpaint.com/color-detail.php?id=2667 Example of green with brown...See Moretracefloyd
