I'll write about the shingles shot
Comments (25)My DH got shingles the end of Oct. 2011. He was gone when he noticed the blisters(on a Tues)and thought he got burned from the shower. He got home on Sat. and I looked at them and told him he better get to the Dr. first thing Mon. AM. Then on second thought I said he better get to the emergency room yet that day. He didn't argue. Making a long story short, the ER Dr. put him on 4000mg.(no, that is not a mistake)a day of anti-viral meds and told him to go see his regular Dr. on Tues. The regular Dr. told him, he could be a billboard for shingles, that it was the worse case(other than someone having them in their eye)that he had ever seen in all his years of praticing. Today, he still is having problems with his shirts rubbing on his skin. He was out of work for 7 weeks and even to this day, I think he is working in spite of the fact he is still in pain. Shot or no shot, get to the Dr. if you notice blisters anywhere on your body, with no explanation as to why....See MoreWhy do my Photobucket pictures keep disappearing?
Comments (18)I will do a counter top reveal soon. The fabricators did an incredible job of scribing the counters to the walls and matching the veins on the mitered edge of the island. Sadly, my counters are covered with junk right now. We just had to move my parents to assisted living, and a bunch of their stuff ended up here for sorting since they down sized (and they did no packing or sorting before we arrived to move them from 3 hours away). Here pictures I took of the counters the day after install, before they got buried: I would really love feedback in my closets thread: http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/load/kitchbath/msg0614465421334.html If I don't get the details nailed down soon, DH may divorce me....See MoreFREE shingles vaccine
Comments (13)Mare, with the insurance you have, it's too bad Walmart isn't giving the shot. My local Walmart gave me the impression that they'll offer them at some point. The pharmacist said, "we're working on it." Sue, I'm about 50 miles from W-B. What year was that, do you know? I have a good friend with the last name Elliott, but he's originally from Syracuse. I assume you mean Wyoming, PA, yes? In addition to the town, Wyoming is a popular street name around here....See Moredisappearing posts
