Try using Clorox Disinfecting Bathroom Cleaner Spray without bleach. It removes the grease stains on Ikea Axstad cabinet doors. Looks like new! It also removes other stains as well.

Forbattra in translates to "make better" or "improve". They are parts that are used to complement various door styles, so they do have different finishes. We used glossy Ringhult fronts for our remodel, the cover panels we bought are Forbattra in high gloss white. They also come in matte and I think other finishes to match various door styles. Some Forbattra parts just come in a generic white, such as the hidden drawer fronts. When you are ordering from Ikea, the kitchen staff will automatically order the Forbattra parts for your chosen door style. Since you are looking at Barker, I'd ask them. They surely know what they are trying to match.

We hadn't yet put on toekicks or trim pieces, but we redid our kitchen in the Axstad gray and the black island that appears to not be available anymore. Tingsryd? Something like that. I'd wanted a navy but that wasn't available then. Looks like it is now though. Hardware is from Amazon. We've had it all in since April of 2020. It's worn wonderfully, still looks new. If the fingers are particularly greasy, it will show them, but otherwise it's not really noticeable, imo. I just wipe them down every so often and it's fine.

Angela - thank you! Subway tile is from Home Depot Canada but don’t recall name sorry! Was in stock item. Counters are LG (US$) Calacatta Plata - white quartz with some grey veining was the closest white I could find to match cupboards which are a very bright white. Took a lot of searching to find one that didn’t look dull or not really white next to cabinets.
