It has been such a journey, but so glad we did it. @practigal I sure did! we had around 30 cabinets total or so. @Karenseb I actually am not sure what was used for lighting or power exactly. The electrician provided them, but they look pretty standard. Here is a picture. Sorry for the poor quality. I am pretty excited. Comments (2)Ikea has had several issues with white doors yellowing in a very short period of time. They became aware of the issue in 2013, but it existed for probably 5 years prior to that realization. They acted to remedy it shortly after that. I have had warranty service on two Ståt kitchens (in rentals) for yellowing doors. Not only do the doors yellow, they yellow at different rates, so side by side cabinets will have one white door and one yellow door after only 4 or 5 years. Comments (9)I’m following this thread, because im deciding between grimslov vs bodbyn cabinets in off-white. I have the actual door samples. It looks like the bodbyn is a tad more creamy with a slight yellow hue. I’m curious on the durability of the grimslov since it is thermofoil. The bodyn is painted.
