Our 20+ y/o Century Plant is finally blooming for the first and only time. My photo doesn’t adequately show its redness, but it‘s there. In the past ten days it’s grown from not there to 8 feet tall! And, it’s still growing! They can easily reach twenty feet tall before they die and then it’s their ”pups” turn. This is next to the walkway from our front porch to the guest parking area, so everyone gets to see it!

Lars, it's neither. It's the Manhattan Bridge, I believe. It was misidentified in the picture's info. ETA: Not sure what's going on. The original file is named "Manhattan Bridge" on my pc. When I click "i" on the pic on my Ipad, it shows the name as Washington Bridge. Strange. That's the Brooklyn Bridge in the background.
