Thanks guys! You have given me some great clues. I think his fussiness was due to many factors, including: tummy adjustment to the rice ceral (I think he does better with oatmeal), inability to sleep well on his back, teething (drooling and chewing a lot), his 4 mo. shots were this week, and also (mainly, I think) he had some redness/irritation around his wee (we hadn't been cleaning the area where he's been circumcised well enough). :-( That's great, Andrea. We also have 8pm bedtime, just after a story. I still feed him (nurse) one more time (before I go to bed - around 10pm) and he sleeps until 6am -- sometimes earlier, but he stays in the crib playing/talking/fussing/whatever until 6am. This has helped him to entertain himself so well. Nice to wake up to a cooing rather than crying baby! Still likes to fuss at naptimes, though. Guess he needs to wind down. Does Logan need a nap/get cranky after just a couple hours of waketime, too? Yes, Karla, I think the rice is not so good on his tummy. Maybe I can use it mixed with fruits/applesauce later on, since I do have a BIG box to use! I sure wish Cole could sleep on his back better. I have been letting him fuss some to get used to the idea. If he's extra tired, he won't even roll over, anyway. I also wish he could sleep better out in public places/other people's homes. I go to playgroups/church meetings/stores where naptime comes and he fights it. Guess he prefers his warm crib with the fan going (white noise - drowns out the neighbors dog). He will sleep in the car, now, and has fallen asleep in his bouncy and during story time, but not without a little fussing. I don't go out too much, I try to plan things during his waketime (is this a bad idea?). Then, days where I can't, his nap schedule is interrupted -- is there a way to get him to 'sleep anywhere'? My concerns, if I were looking to buy your home, would be that the dining, living and family rooms are well-located with a nice traffic flow, pleasing windows that match the rest of the house, and finishes that work well with the older parts of the home. If the family room feels like a garage, has garage-like windows, or an inconvenient or non-existent entry space, a big closet in the master would not overcome that for me. If the dining room is finished like the kitchen, and feels more like a kitchen than a dining room, then I wouldn't care whether you had 3 closets in the master. I If the modified and already-added spaces were pleasing to me, then the bigger closet would be frosting on the cake. It sounds like your neighbors cared more about expanding personal, bed and bath space than about living areas. Or perhaps the change to the bedroom areas is more natural and cheaper given how the homes are laid out and oriented on the lots?

No offense taken at all, ladies, I truly value your opinions. Leahcate, these are not fresh flowers from my garden (if only!). At one time I completely sneered at fake flowers and spent inordinate amounts of time with fresh flowers, which had to be changed every few days, and about 50 houseplants (when I had a really large house in the past). I'm afraid exhaustion and not so good health have set in but I enjoy the subtle colors and textures even of the fake ones. I know how you feel since I've cringed at some of the decorations in rooms that people have posted, but dare one say anything unless specifically asked? In this case I did ask so of course my feelings are not hurt in the least. In the TV room which is where we spend quite a bit of time (we also have two laptops there) I almost always have a vase of fresh roses from the garden. (Also many of my husband's paintings and drawings and a Yorkie and a Maine Coon cat, so I consider it a well-furnished room.) Lots of replies! In our master bath we have a rectangular mirror with a pretty frame. Then because the space is only about 4 ft. wide with a wall on both sides, I had the workers put an inset medicine cabinet on each side. When I want to see the sides or back of my hair I just open the appropriate side mirror. And we each have our own medicine cabinet! Works for me. Plus it reflects lots of light from the sconces on each side of the framed mirror. I also had them tile up that area under the framed mirror about a foot high. Keeps lots of water splashes off the mirror. Looks nicer too because the tile has a beautiful 3 inch high band of "deco" tile that continues around the 3 sides of the area. There is just one sink in the counter area because my husband and I are hardly ever needing the sink at the same time. We separated the toilet, tub, shower part of the bath from the sink with a pocket door so that while one is in there, the other can be using the sink without a steamed up mirror and all. It works great. I had seen this set-up in some motels and liked it a lot. Makes the bathroom do double duty!
