Fenwroth, believe me, I have been through all of those options :). Pizzamaking forums are full of people defeating safety features on ovens trying to get the temp high. While that kind of works, the dynamics of a home oven still don't match the neopolitan cooking. So while it would be good to not have to fire up the wood oven for a quick meal by using higher temp, I would have probably still gone for the wood oven. As to using the grill outside, that is what I am going to do for our primary house. But in Seattle area where I live, it rains 6+ months. And for making Pizza, it is more convenient to do it in the kitchen as opposed to carrying things back and forth. So in the new kitchen we are opting to put the wood oven. As to Capital, yes, we are looking at that also in addition to bluestar. So far, I am concerned about the sealed burners but have not done enough research to know if it will really bother us. Also, their 30K wok burner takes 24-inches which pushes us to get a 60 inch unit to have a griddle which is larger than what we were planning for. We may still go for it as the appeal of 30K is high in our eyes :). But I am not quite there yet.

More on the dog: The Akita (large dog) is crate trained. We do often confine him to a room when there are guests in other parts of the house. We just aren't willing to do this for our two regular and close friends who don't mind the dog out and about, but just not touching them because we already have a solution we LOVE-LOVE-LOVE (seating in the kitchen with narrow enough entries) They come by too often. We are lazy, we don't want to have to do anything special when they arrive. This must-have design rule brings us too much joy to give up for a lesser solution. We've also now discussed the partial door issue and decided against it too. It will result in this partial door being extended permanently. We are too lazy to move it back and open the area. Really. I'm not kidding. This is just who we are. How do I know this? Mr. Chef pointed out that our opening to the living room is already 5' and we put a kitchen cart there to block it further. The cart never moves. Never. It is just sitting in the living room offering extra kitchen storage and serving the purpose of narrowing the opening to make the dog easier to control. I should probably put this info into a web page. We've discussed this issue in person and on the web for hours with dozens of people. It's human nature to be polite to the first 5 or 10 people who suggest a crate/gate solution, but when the 67th person makes the suggestion, it's harder. The 67th person doesn't realize that you've already discussed this in great gory detail with 66 people before them and rejected it after very deeply considering it and they deserve the same politeness as the 1st. But it's hard. Maybe if I write it up and just point people to the URL explaining it, I can avoid being less than civil about it.

Lars, if you really want to be sure, there are two more easy things you can do. Those mails could be fake and you shouldn't click on anything, as always, until you are sure they are legit. I would do them because I hate the hackers and want to report all that I can. Plus I am just curious. It only takes a minute or so for each. You can do this in your inbox, junk folder or deleted folder. Position your cursor over the circle to the left of the unopened email's "From" line and right-click. You will get a drop-down menu that has an option "view > view message source". Click on that, which will open up the "headers" - a whole bunch of routing information. Look for a paragraph, usually 4th or 5th from the top, that starts with "Authentication-results"; that line will have the sender IP. You can enter that IP into the site DNSChecker.org and you will find out if the emails really came from Microsoft. (the rest of that paragraph should also show that it is from a MS address.) You can also look at the sign in activity on your account: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/check-the-recent-sign-in-activity-for-your-microsoft-account-5b3cfb8e-70b3-2bd6-9a5 to see if there really was a sign in from a new device.
