Pretty house! I actually like the current siding color and think Oyster Bay would look good, too. The current siding color is nice with your roof color, and OB would also work. The black shutters look good and so would Iron Ore. Kind of win-win for you IMO. :-)

Remove the shutters they actually detract form the windows the house is such a mish mash of styles i would keep the front door a simple one painted the same as the house that entry has so much going on no need for anything else.IMO the front porch is all wrong for the house and I would remove it and replace the doors with a large window to make it look like it was never a porch.Sorry but the architect that designed this house should get another job.

Mathew, I wouldn't put shutters on a double window. To be properly sized they'd be really wide on a double window and look odd, or you might not even have enough room for shutters that wide. That being said, I'd say most shutters I see are sized wrong and/or on the wrong style window. You see some pretty crazy stuff. See if the link below can help. I think you are right to be cautious about adding gray on your beige-rust-brownish house. Just doesn’t ”go.” Navy or green would work. The shutters you have now look like bandaids. Get new appropriately sized shutters. Your landscaping looks neat and well cared for, except the one red-brown shrub starting to get too tall.
