Kitchen Faucet Help - Seeking Quality + Bargain

last year
last modified: last year

Our full-home remodel has far exceeded our budget, so we’re seeking to save where possible.

We were able to buy a quality faucet for our prep sink from someone on CL (new in box, they didnt install it before selling their vacation home) for $300 (was purchased for $1K), and so i’m continuing to look for similar opportunities. I realize there’s inherent risk, but that can be mitigated if you know what you’re doing.

Alternatively we buy something new that’s not high-end, and later upgrade.

We like the industrial pull down style. Seeking stainless steel. If possible, a sensor would be great. What would be really great is if it has weight to it and isn't plastic. Ideally, we keep it under $400.

It’s challenging to buy online, because you have no idea how they feel, if they’re plastic/cheap feeling, and so looking for advice.

No need to warn me about buying from CL/FB/eBay markets, I get that’s a risk…

Thanks for your time!
