Comments (0)ARS 2009 Photo Contest winners in class 6, list ÂCandy Cane as a winner. From the contest winnerÂs photos, shows a beautiful single (4-8) petal bloom. MR 12 publication and database, describes it as a Cl. Miniature with 13 petals. What is correct the photo or ARS database? Thank You....See MoreAnd today's hitlist winners are.....drumroll here....
Comments (12)ok, I got out there, started shovelling (have no idea what I'm doing), neighbor came over, invited me for wine...............what can I say.............the shovelling went for a poop! Fortunately, she has a son who was willing to take on the job............and wouldn't take any money! I said, "you have to take money, how can I hire you again, if you think you won't get paid? Anyway, have had way too much wine, need to go to bed........talk to you all tomorrow! Nitey nite! Laurel...See MoreAnd the ugly winners are:
Comments (11)How fun! I have been out of town and very busy so I have not been on the forum in almost 2 weeks. What a big surprise to see that my fabric was one of the worst! I don't think I could "win" any quilting contest/challenge on this forum, but at least I have a shot when it comes to UGLY fabric. LOL. Thanks for hosting this Bev. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can make of all of these uglies. Lola...See MoreUgly Fabric Contest is now OPEN! (warning 8 pics)
Comments (49)I actually think it is interesting to see how a viewed ugly fabric can be made into a striking quilt. When I took my stack-n whack class, our instructions were to buy the ugliest fabric we could find, the bigger the repeat the better. Jayne -Yours is very pretty and the ugly fabric adds interesting variety. Beverly - I think everyone had great fun with this and have been good sports laughing about ourselves and our ugly fabric choices. This was a good, fun break from the winter blues. Can't wait to see your creation!...See MoreMaryl (Okla. Zone 7a)
