how funny- I just bumped your construction thread- any updated pics we could see?

I haven't gotten to the tile stage yet but I actually went and looked at these today. At least some of these! I have one or two of these on my phone. LOL. I can just tell you which ones I prefer. I think that the turquoise ones look prettier than the darker blues. I just love the way the tiles shimmer on the steps thru the water. I had not seen the mini Koyn-olive blue! It is very pretty. It would be pretty with the larger tile as the waterline tile and then a smaller tile on a tanning ledge. I also like the Martinique. I had originally thought that I would go with more natural colors, like bronze and browns but now I am definitely leaning towards the turquoises and greens and blues!! Good lucks. Thanks, Kristen. I'm not sure why he's suggesting 6". Because I always do things a little different, lol...our waterline tiles are actually 8". It's hard to visualize that non-infinity wall right now as it's just steel. That's a good point, though..I need to ask them about that. The outside wall will be done in large porcelain tiles that match a water feature wall we're doing. I'm supposed to give an answer soon (yesterday, actually) We had our pre-gunite inspection and wouldn't you know it..she couldn't complete it because it was raining. We haven't had rain since January, and it's supposed to rain all week. I'm taking it as a sign. I need more time to make up my mind! Anyone out there have glass in your spa? I need to hear from ya...

Finding photos of particular looks can be difficult. Sometimes one lucks out, but often the search just doesn't find anything helpful. All I can say is try different search engines. Bring up another tab and type in a different from what you usually use search engine name. I have used Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Ask.com, and Yahoo. Wikipedia has a LIST of others. After the search page opens type in a simple search like pool tile selections or pool waterline and stair trim tile. Then choose Images to get photos. I can't guarantee this will get what you are looking for. Sometimes you have to play with the wording. Also, companies that sell tile sometimes have a Gallery where they show off pools with their tile. Here is ONE and here is ANOTHER. I noticed that some pools had tile set into underwater steps to highlight them. Perhaps you can do something like that to your entry/exit points that set them off and still work with the rest of your tile. Good Luck.
