Help with exterior colors for yellow brick house with red rock
I need help choosing a new trim color for my house. The house is 1962 and has yellow - beige brick with red stone along the bottom. The trim is red right now and I feel like it emphasizes the pinkish tone, which I hate. We're replacing the roof as well and want to go dark grey. I need help choosing a new paint color for the soffit, trim around the doors and garage door. We're going to have black metal railings at the front door and a black light fixture. Thanks so much!
(I added a picture of the house. The front stairs are going to be changed to a beige color, and the cement retaining wall will eventually get the red rock appointments back on it. The little piece of roof on the front stoop is going away when we rework the roof and gutters.)

If that's the natural color, fine (I thought it was already painted). perhaps a good power washing would help brighten it up a bit. Comments (28)If you decide to paint the siding the color of the brick, do be careful and try out some big sample boards. There are a few examples in my neighborhood of attempted matching that was "off", and it isn't a good look. last yearHave you ever considered spray painting the red stone along the bottom? There are techniques now that allow that. Companies such as Spary-Net (there are also other such companies) that can do that if you don't want to do it yourself (inquire about how to do it and what products to use). Taking that into consoderation, I show a greige for the stone which will be an even colour once spray painted but it will have a nice texture. I've suggested SW Functional Grey for the 2 doors, garage door, and trim paired with SW Pure White. You can look at the suggestion for ciment walkway paint. I show a new black railing, new front door black sconce, and if possible, install 2 black sconces on each side of the garage door for more detail.
