Nope, definitely NOT parsley. To me, it looks like some kind of buttercup (Ranunculus). There are a lot of weedy species of buttercups which can be very invasive. If I were you, I would nip it in the bud ASAP. If your potatoes haven't yet sprouted, spray it with Roundup or similar, or cover it over with black plastic, cardboard, etc, and make just small holes, which you can weed by hand, for the potatoes to grow through.

I grow most if not all of those mints, and my opinion on them is only from personal expereince. I have at least 5 with fruit in the title, and 4 with Lemon. Scented mints vary little if any from one Fruity one to the next. Marshmallow is my favorite of all my mints, it is sweet and sticky smelling, but not necessarily like a marshmallow. The pineapple mint seems to have a strong hint of pineapple, as does Banana mint "remind" me of bananas. I have read that Pineapple is just a varigated Apple mint, neither of which remind me of apples. I usually just gather a handfull of them all and make a tea out of it, calling it my "10 mint Tea", cause I usually gather from 10 or so different mints. The Orange and Chocolte mints don't mix well with others (in my opinion) as they are very strong in their own scents. Chocolate makes for great cakes and icings though. shrooms and fungii are the decomposers of the world .. and it is very common to find them decomposing mulch ... i prefer to think of them as a free show of ma nature ... rather than digging them up to perfect my mulch ... when the mulch is fully expended.. they will go away ... but in the mean time.. zowee ... the cool thing on the plant above ... its a very rare ALL WHITE PLANT ... no chlorophyll ... which means... it cant process sunshine ... which means it has to be parasitic on something ... ken

Good catch, Hillary, If I'm not too late, pls do not cut anything off, you're liable to cut too much off & the plant will collapse if you cut into its crown. Looks like you got it just in time. Rina gave good advice, I was going to suggest the cinnamon too. I don't usually wash the roots, I crumble the soil off dry. But washing it here actually allowed us to see you DO have some viable roots there; seems all is NOT lost. Sprinkle the Cinnamon on the roots, then pls pick the plant up & shake off the excess. Then pot it up DRY & pls do not water it for 3-4 days at least to allow the roots to heal any injury from them being handled. Perlite will definitely work in place of pumice, don't know abt the gravel, it may be too big. After all is done, just as curiosity, wash off that netting thing & pls see if you can spread it open btwn your fingers. I think it's some kind of synthetic mesh; they don't usually degrade over time. I don't know what these nurseries are thinking; but I'd be curious to see it clean, splay out btwn your fingers. Its presence would explain why the pups are pushing up & out thru the center of the plant, instead of the regular coming out from nearby or underneath the mother plant. I recently repotted a ZZ plant plant, only to find a large piece of screen stuck to the bottom of the plant's roots. One never knows what one might find. Great save!!
