Any experience with using spray stick emitters connected to drip
Comments (1)It's a drip irrigation system. You can adjust the flow to make it really spray wide or simply to drip. I used it this summer with much success. I bought mine off Lee Valley even managed to use 1 stake/spray to cover 3 large pots....See MoreMy Experiment with stained glass spray
Comments (8)I haven't ever used the spray-on stained glass paint, but I have used the paint-on kind. It keeps its color (because it is an artist paint and not subject to the no-lead requirements of house paint) but sunlight causes it to peel after a year or so. I'm not sure if the spray-on type would stand up better to sunlight or not. That is a nice shade of red!...See MoreCayenne Pepper Spray Experiement
Comments (14)What would happen if you substituted a little liquid dish soap for the Murphy's oil soap? I keep a big container of cayenne or Chinese red pepper as it is sometimes labelled. Wish it worked on slugs. And today, I was repotting a split leaf philodendron. Taking it from its old nursery black pot, I found several slugs in the root ball, think they came up through the holes around the perimeter. I knocked off a lot of the dirt, unknotted the root ball, and then dunked it into a big boiling pot (not hot, just the kind of pot)with 1:10 household ammonia and water. Perhaps I should have used a similar mix of bleach instead? I let it drip over the old soil where the slugs had disappeared, and hope it got em good. An earth worm came up out of the ground and was stretching very long, so it had penetrated the ground with some effect. Sorry, didn't mean to harm the worm, it probably is in ICU tonight. Meanwhile, I still have a whiff of ammonia in my sinus, so the formula is potent....See MoreSalon Spray Tan ???
Comments (10)Wow $95 that's a lot. This is $24.99 per time and they have a special going buy 2 get one free. They don't do your feet either. They have some kind of lotion for your feet or something else to put over them. When I use self tanner I don't do my feet either. It's too hard to get them even. Geez I hope I don't turn out orange. She assured me that the people that have done it, do not turn orange. This salon has been doing this for quite a while and has a good reputation but I'm still scared. DH said I should just go for it. So maybe tomorrow I will. I'll let you know how it turns out!...See Morebbstx
