I think that sectional is really nice for your space. There are lots of sectional haters on this site, but many of us who have them, love them. It's a nice scale and will give you lots of lounging space, as well as seating without so many arms (as with sofa + chairs) taking up space. You could probably (it looks like it) add an armchair or small recliner if you want one, where the wood armchair is now (by the sliding door). Not sure what color you're thinking but that green in the ad is yummy and would look nice in the forest setting. Maybe an upholstered chair in a print with green an blue to bring in the water element you want - also pillows and rug to bring them all together. Have fun! eta: I see in rereading you're thinking of greige for the sectional. If you want it to be more fun than your home, I'd rethink that and commit to a color. Something that would be more fun on a dark, dreary day than greige. From your Pinterest board...look how yummy and fun this color is - this would warm you up on a cold, snowy day:

Where do you prefer to prep? On the island looking out or along the perimeter looking out the window on the range wall? Island...keep the sink in the island but move it over to either the left or right, either place will work, just don't center it as you then make the island less useful since you will have cut up the usable workspace. Symmetry is fine -- as long as it isn't taken to excess and makes something dysfunctional. Perimeter...put in a corner prep sink in the far right corner. Move the refrigerators and pantry down a bit to ensure you have at least 24" on the right wall b/w the prep sink and refrigerator (that would be 5' from the range/window wall to the first refrigerator). This ensures enough prep workspace b/w the range and corner sink and puts the workspace in front of the window...you'll be doing most of your work there chopping/cutting up produce. You probably won't need the sink in the island if you have one in the corner, unless 3 or more people will be prepping. (A second person can work on the left side of the range near the cleanup sink.) Of course now, the island won't be of much use for prepping b/c there's no water. But you could stage food there. Unless...If this is a "summer home", does that mean you will have several people working in the Kitchen at the same time? If so, then a third sink in the island might be useful based on how you cook/prepare meals. Note, however, that a corner prep sink will probably throw off your "symmetry" b/c that corner will have a diagonal front while the left will have a 90-degree corner (which is much better if it's not a sink). Trash pullout...in the primary Prep Zone. Dishwasher...to the left of the cleanup sink to keep it out of the way of those prepping/cooking. . I don't think of symmetry is lining up the sink and range...it's balancing the cabinets on each side of a non-cabinet item (e.g., window, hood, range, etc.) -- especially cabinets above the counter (most of the cabinets below the counter won't be seen b/c the island will block them from view). Same size doors and same # of doors, etc. Lining up the sink and range will do you no good because, as was pointed out above, they will be lined up ONLY when you are standing in the same direct line as the sink and range -and- you are standing centered on the range...once you move left or right, they will no longer line up.

Zero issues with off site spraying. If you have concerns, have them use Milesi. The isocyanates are bound in it, and only pose dangers to the sprayer. Envirolak is even more eco friendly, and tougher than Ken Aqua.
