What color should I paint the doors and trim of my house?

Hi Houzz Community! I am having trouble decided what color to paint the doors and trim of my house to go with the yellow stucco.. does anyone have any ideas? Spanish colonial revival home built in 1926. Thanks in advance!

I think you could go a few ways:

Nice crisp bright white, black , or blue with white! It needs something to pop.

Thanks again for the input. I tried a color visualizer, but it turns out that I have the artistic ability of a 4 year old on acid. Id love to be able to see some greys or even dark blues and how that would look....(if any of you more creative people have extra time). Thanks again, this community rocks!

Tex max Im not sure what I want to do in the piano room yet…I wish the floors were all the same throughout the house- that will have to be a project for later- We May remodel the kitchen next year and that is when we would replace the floors throughout the 1st floor. I would paint all the trim, and the peak the same color. Paint the front door a brighter color, so it stands out. Paint your garage door the same color as the trim, and gable peak. The biggest improvement you can make for curb appeal, would be to do some landscaping. It looks a bit barren.

For me, the black is too severe, so I vote for something closer to SW Urbane Bronze. If you like the black look, maybe temper it a bit and do a very dark brown.

Does the yellow have to stay? I think the white is anice crisp trim color but most Spanish homes would have black iron railings and some accent which would lead me to black but I see wood railing which IMO are not Spanish anything and really the house other than the roof does not really sat Spanish to me at all.

I would LOVE nothing more than to paint the house white but my husband LOVES the yellow. Also the yellow is a very well done stucco and in great condition still. The house has a gate around the entire perimeter of the property that is also yellow stucco and covered in vines and landscaping if I paint it white, I'd have to rip all of this out and replace it too. I think I am going to have to paint the trim and doors for now and live with the yellow for the time being. :,(
