That salad looks a lot like ded's sundae, Rusty ... and I hope that ded built that on a cracker or part of a slice of toast - or expects to eat it in about 32.5 seconds (prior to the time needed to lick up the melts). o j

eld, there is a major intersection in town that's a broad 4-way stop which meets on a hill with curves. Back in the day, they used to try to guide the traffic using 'lollipops' which were round "go right" signs in the middle of the road set in a block of cement to hold them up. (They of course would regularly get run over.) We always called the intersection "the rotary". The lollipops have been gone for over 40 years replaced with lots of lane markings and signage, but townsfolk still say, "take a right at the rotary".

Annie my teaching moment learning the difference between garbage and trash was at my grandmothers house. I learned the garbage went in the pail on the back step. Egg shells, coffee grounds, potato peels, etc. would go in in the slop bucket, i.e. garbage pail, and she'd use it for compost. The paper stuff was incinerated, and bottles and tin cans were the only trash hauled away back then.
