I did look at that link, and it helped, but I was still confused. But I ended up calling Armacost, and they were incredibly helpful and sent me a UCL design for my kitchen and told me exactly what to buy and how to wire it. So we're putting in one power source and are hard wiring it and I know exactly what to tell the electrician today. And it will cost under $200!

I got my undercabinet lights from Environmental lights. I love them and the cost was very reasonable. Why don't you call and see what they suggest.

I could only find one pic that showed the trim meeting corner or wall. And go figure, it's from out master bath sink area, during construction before all the lights/mirrors/etc. were in so there are heavier shadows than normal and you can't see too much detail. I'll have to look in person to be sure, but looks like they just cut off the parts necessary so that everything was flush against the wall. You know, in the pics it looks kinda weird that they did that, but I swear in person I never even noticed, so it's not something that has ever bothered me.

The older optics of both Canon and Nikon are excellent. What you need to look for is do these older lensses have features that will interface with the lens controls in the new camera. Can it auto-focus? Or will it be a 'manual only' lense? What about anti-shake? Automatic aperature setting? Face recognition and a host of other features found in Digital camera. Will the lens and speed settings appear in the view finder? The most important feature is does the focus field completely cover the sensor. The camera maufacture can guide you on this. They should supply a list of lenses that are comaptible with the new camera. What you could do is purchase the body only and use your existing lens. It may be a "manual only" for speed and arperature settings. However, that may be a good thing. One of the things that I miss in the lower cost class of digital cameras is easy manual control. There are many times when I wish to grab the lens barrel and control the focus and adjust the exposure too. There are many instances where complete automation misses the mark for me. Use the camera for awhile, and then decide on which lens to buy.
