Most day's it is a minute or two. There have been a few words I struggled with; maybe 5 minutes or so. I have only failed once.

Good question. I have two start words. Even if I get a couple of yellow hits on the first one, I enter the second one for the rest of the vowels and different consonants. So I rarely even get the solution on the send try, obviously. I take what I get from those two tries and give it a couple of minutes. Maybe an attempt. Then I put ot away for later. What can throw me is the use of two of the same letters. I tend to forget that's an option. And words that start with a vowel, too.

I've given up a couple of times. I just can't make a word work with the remaining letters.

I don't leave it then come back, I just get frustrated and stop.

My average solving time is 10 minutes. The longest is about an hour.

ETA: I leave and come back in that hour. I don't sit and stare at it the whole time. ;)

Quickly! I could never think up that many 5 letter words. I use this. Advanced word search It doesn't give you the answer...it gives you possibilities.

Usually 5-10 minutes. Once or twice, if I’m on the 4th guess, I have set it aside while I go pour my coffee and do a crossword, then look at it again. Then the answer usually jumps out at me.

On average, i get it in about five minutes. Some days, i dont get it at all. Some days everything falls in place and iget it in a minute. . I always work it straight through, i dont walk away and come back. However, with Quordle I work slowly sometimes throughout the day because i dont want to waste a guess! i like Quordle the best because its a little more challenging.

Too much time some days. But I will put it aside if I don't have something after about 5 minutes and then come back.

I usually solve it in 5 minutes or less. Frustration sets in if I don’t, so I leave it and come back later in the day. Then, sometimes I can solve immediately after re-opening. Time away helps.

Quordle takes less time for me because I usually start with three preselected words that do not duplicate any letters, and so by the fourth guess, it is usually just unscrambling words - generally not having to add more than one letter at that time.

Wordle takes me a bit longer, but usually less than five minutes. However, I do have a lot of patience. I always consider using the same letter twice, since that happens fairly often.

I think around 3 minutes at most. There are only 6 tries. I don't over focus on it. My average seems to be 4. I do it right after midnight before calling it a night along with 7 little words.

I have no earthly idea, never thought to try to time it. But it goes quicker now than when I first started playing. And while I was completely bumfuzzled by Octordle and Sedecordle when I first saw them, I like them better now, and perhaps even a little easier. The words almost seem to form themselves, I usually end up just unscrambling words, and having to decide which one to choose when there is, for example, just one try left, but 3 words, two if which I'm pretty sure of.

Same here re: timing it, but I'm pretty sure it's under 10 minutes - usually 5 or less. I usually solve it by the 3rd or 4th guess.

I have about 30 random 5 letters words I used for starters. I spend about five to seven minutes and usually do it after midnight. I only got 2 tries twice but my best is

22 for 3 lines. I didn't solve it one time and the others tries are around eight for 5 and 6.

Only takes me a few minutes to play each of the wordle type games. The ones with more words, of course, take longer.

I always play in hard mode. It takes me usually 10 to 20 minutes, but I have spent 35 to 45 at times. Only occasionally get it in a few minutes, and mostly in 4 tries, next is in 3,. I don't comeback but stay until solved. I've missed once in 67 games. I really wonder how many of those who solve in a few minutes all the time are playing in hard mode. - I wish people would say.

I didn’t know there WAS a hard mode. So I went to see what it was all about.

That’s the way I play the game almost every time already. Makes no sense to me to NOT use all the clues you have in every single row. Seems like you would waste a row/guess when you don’t.

So I guess my answer stays the same - 5 minutes or less almost every time.

I always use hard mode in the games that give a choice, not all of them do. Wordle did somehow get switched to easy mode awhile back, but I switched when I discovered it. Not sure how or why it got changed, sometimes I think there are little blue men living in my computer who love to mess with things when I'm not looking. :^)

I play Wordle in hard mode, but not Quardle (does it have a hard mode?).

I do not have Wordle set to hard mode, but I play it as if it were.

What littlebug zone 5 Missouri said. How is it hard mode when it's really just common sense mode?

I use my set of words to get started. I solve it pretty quick. Once in a while I solve it in the first couple of guesses before I use all of my pre-selected words. Usually, it takes longer and most of my choices.

No more than 5 minutes for me. It usually takes me at least 5 tries and a couple times I didn't get it.
