Serving size - this drives me nuts

Please check my math. A serving is two pancakes using 41 grams of mix, so six pancakes should take 123 grams.

I decide to make half again as much to be sure, so I weigh out 185 grams of mix and add 3/4 cup of water. Further down in the instructions it says to scoop a scant quarter cup of batter to make 4” pancakes. My #16 disher is about 1.75 ounces (another annoyance, should be 2) so I’d say that’s scant. What do I end up with?

FIVE pancakes that are less than 4”. What the heck?

Ok I realize this is never going to be exact. But five pancakes instead of nine? That’s not even approximate!
