I use an iPad and do not have that problem, but I use Safari as the browser. I'm not sure why that would make a difference, though.

I use Safari on my iPad and haven’t noticed the time lag.

With three different things involved of three different kinds and often different sources - the hardware, the software, the website- sometimes odd behavior happens one way and not another.

As the Safari browser comes from under the same tent as the iPad (Apple), I would try using Safari instead of Firefox, that may resolve your issue.

Oh brother, I DO use Safari already, on the ipad and phone. Guess I forgot that.

If I were experiencing this, I'd clear Safari history (under Settings, Safari) and also check that the iPad isn't running low on memory. Clearing history means you may need to reinput some passwords but it will be faster and more responsive.

Also, I'd try Firefox. Nothing to lose.

Have you done all the latest updates? When is the last time you restarted it? Just wondering if either of these two needs to be done. I only have an iPhone so that's all I've got for you. I rarely use the KT on my phone.

Thanks, I clear history all the time on all my devices. I also install all updated (manually or automatically,) when they become available. I think this ipad has seen better days. My phone too, for that matter. It's probably time...

I have that problem, too, but on a PC. I can avoid it by logging on both through gardenweb and through houzz.

Today when I had only logged on through only one URL, a thread that I'd read appeared shorter than it was yesterday. So I did my additional login and found a whole bunch of new responses on the thread.

sjerin - how old is your iPad? I won mine in 2014 and I don't have that particular problem. I do update but I've never cleared any history. There are times when i can't post a photo on this site but that's usually a Houzz issue. I'm getting a new iPad as soon as I figure out which one and then I'll leave my old one at our other house.
