What color white trim contrasts well with Behr swiss coffee paint?

2 years agoI want to use Ultra pure white behr time color, so I can have some contrast but want to make sure the color hue family wont be off?
Not off at all.
Plenty of contrast in general but most importantly in terms of Chroma. Honestly, there aren't many colors Ultra Pure White doesn't work with because of its high Value and low Chroma. In a word, nuance.
When we consider a color's lightness and colorfulness at the same time, that's called nuance and I think it's what makes UPW such a pretty color of white.
Every brand (I think) has a color named Swiss Coffee. IMO, BEHRs is the prettiest.

Comments (4)Using the same colour on both trim and walls is one legitimate design choice. They will look a little differently anyway because of the sheen levels. Comments (5)I wouldn't assume that the cabinet maker's Swiss Coffee will be a match to a BenM Swiss Coffee paint chip. I'd want to see a sample first. Because the color appearance depends a great deal on the product. They maybe using a Swiss Coffee chip as the target, but oftentimes it can't be matched exactly. Plus, cabinet products are higher sheen and that shifts color appearance a smidge darker. Swiss Coffee has a healthy bump of Chroma (colorfulness). So much so that I wouldn't categorize it as an off-white. It's a color. That's how I'd treat Swiss Coffee depending on what the cabinet maker's sample looked like. 2 years agoThis is Behr Marquee Swiss Coffee on both walls and trim. Walls are matte and trim is semi gloss. Definitely a creamy color especially here in late afternoon light.

2 years agoWe used Behr Swiss Coffee in our bathroom. Store recommended Chantilly Lace for white trim. Attached a pic.
