White Kitchen need tile back splash and wall paint ideas
Comments (6)I am looking for the same. New white kitchen in a home built in 1928- my adjacent dining room is also a green. We have wood floors and will have some stainless. I am still trying to figure out countertops and backsplash- designer and architect like white subway. There is a beautiuful green kitchen on this site somewhere I think the name was "Bulkey". You might be able to do the same in grey. If you cannot find it I think I have filed a photo of it. I think it may be a Candice Olsen design. I am wanting a sunnnier color for mine - I tend to love the yellows and am even considering an apricot/paler mango color. Now sure how this would work with the green dining room - but I cannot stop thinking about it. I will keep you posted on my colors as they change. Does anyone have a kitchen that is apricot or mango?...See MoreAny lighting & backsplash ideas for new kitchen would be appreciated!
Comments (10)I think the large pendants may compete with the hood too much. You also don't want anything that needs constant cleaning near your open cooktop. Are there can lights over the peninsula? If so, I think that's all you need. You could put them on a dimmer for dining. I think your nook is crying out for a larger chandelier. It needs something with height as well as width. I don't see a place for backsplash besides the little coffee niche, but that's so full you won't even see the backsplash. I think the biggest improvement you could make is change the paint. The light tan color is reading yellow and isn't doing much for the white cabinets, floor, or the fireplace. The fireplace is really the only thing making your home feel traditional, so you might whitewash the brick and change the mantel. The Home Decor forum could help you achieve a light airy look to work with your pool, windows, and modern kitchen....See MoreBacksplash for white ice granite and white shaker cabinets?
Comments (6)I don't mind your flooring so much. however, please wait until the granite is installed before deciding on a backsplash. there is no rush. nothing can be installed until it's in. grab some samples and wait. this one is random linear bar marble if you want the glass bars: (the one in the pic may be from oceanside glass or Lunada bay. here are some others) https://www.fastfloors.com/tile/soho-studio-corp/uptown-sense-railroad/ice/ https://www.mineraltiles.com/random-glass-mosaic-tile-linear-branco/ that tile above is similar to this one. the granite is Alaska White or maybe look at porcelain chevron, or picket tile...See MoreBacksplash ideas in a black/white kitchen
Comments (10)Wow. Before I comment on backsplash, I just have to say that I love your kitchen. It is just beautiful. Is the backsplash just for the one wall behind the range? Not the window wall? I would do the bold floral. However, I would look at removeable wall paper at sites like Chasing Paper. Another option, if as you say, you are minimalists, is to do an analglypta paper and paint it the same colour as the other walls. Not a fan of more black and white like the other paper as it really reads grey and, to my eye, doesn't go with anything....See MoreKendrah
