The tables may be too much. Post a picture when you have them in place. I think you some color accents everything brown in the room. Those thick shelves call for larger pieces

Nice room. Because it appears fully furnished... whatever you need will be ok. I'm intrigued by the fireplace - is it metal?

Without more context for the room, initial impressions are that the sectional should be pushed closer to the fireplace and the rug rotated. The styles of the console table and built-ins are too different from each other and there are too many horizontal lines (shelves, fireplace mantle, built in tops and table). Try removing the table, and create a grouping on that side by pushing the chair under 1/3 of the art, and using the bench? that's on the far side of the sectional as a little side table for now. The plant can potentially be moved there too. The black, round ottoman looks too small but it may be OK once the rug is rotated.

IMO the first thing would be to get that TV off the FP and on the wall where the art is and all those goofy shelves need to go.

Patricia thats not going to happen, we love the tv on the fireplace and we just had those custom shelves and floating cabinets installed, we love it!

Flower girl, I think there's 'visual relation' between mantel and the shelves, ok....and the shelves aren't all the way across which would be 'alot'... ? Did the tables come, by chance?

if this were my house I would rotate the rug (centered with the fireplace) as JT7abcz suggested, but I would also rotate the sectional to under the picture on the wall so you have a view outside. I would move the chair and one of your new round tables centered between the windows. ideally I would like 2 chairs there. the table under the picture I would see if you could use next to your entry as a dropoff spot with mirror above but thats just a guess since you don't show your entry into the room. it doesn't seem to fit in the room to me. or use as a sofa table on the back off the sectional if the height is right. I just notice the air return vent by the table so make sure the sectional is out from the wall a little.

End tables will be overkill and block traffic in some spots. I'd prefer a second "C" table and a new coffee table that is less ornate and can be pulled within 12-18" of the seats. Have you tried the sectional on the right side of the room? I would be closing off that catch-all wall at the top right of the fireplace. It is very distracting and the flimsy look of it makes the mass of the fireplace feel heavier than you need in this space. If you like the shelves, consider lighting them underneath with some LEDs for a nice effect when enjoying TV.
