Anyone for AGT Extreme?

Simon Cowell is doing an AGT show just for the acts that are too big, dangerous, etc., to be done indoors. I didn't think I'd like it, I don't usually care for that type of thing. They've had some really exciting acts so far, exciting enough to keep me glued to the TV for the whole show. (Well, except for the trapeze artists, they were good, but not much compared to the other acts, IMHO.) Last night they had this young man that does stunts on a dirt bike, with his 90 YO grandmother riding through fire. I don't know how to explain it well enough so the excitement can be imagined, but it was quite something. As was the high wire walker that walked a burning wire, then rode a bicycle over the same burning wire, 25' in the air. With no safety net or anything.

Anyone else watch it?

I knew it was on but those acts don't interest me much. I saw one act where it was so dangerous Simon stopped it mid performance (stunt bow and arrow was malfunctioning).

I wonder what happened to Nick? Anyone know? He did such a good job on that show, so talented, and I loved the way he would get on the stage and 'rescue' a contestant when things got too awkward. Wonder if Tyra will be able to do that. I'd never even heard of Tyra Banks before, don't think I was missing much. To me it seemed like she was trying to imitate Nick's expressions, reactions, etc., but it didn't come across as very natural. I missed his antics a lot. But I love the show more than I disliked Tyra, so I will get used to her. I hope. The chicken surprised me, I thought it was a definite buzzer act, but it was pretty good once it decided to do its thing. It will be interesting to see how they upgrade that act for the next level. Just how entertaining and talented can a chicken be? ? ? I'm with Simon on the clowns, I most definitely do NOT like them! And I thought Puddles deserved the buzzers he got! But that voice was a big surprise! And the brother-sister dance team! Wow! How in the world can anyone spin that much that fast and not be falling down dizzy? Rusty

I have. So far so good. I installed it myself after watching a million youtube videos. Have only had it for 3 months so can't speak for durability. But I really tested a scrap piece with tools and seemed to hold up. I love the color. It seemed each board had a different pattern. Color Tea party.

Bob, I'm originally from the lowcountry in SC and get back there regularly. They've got citrus greening (and quarantine) along the coastline. I think where I'm at just outside Washington DC gets almost as bad with mosquito swarms, heat, and humidity. The plus side of being in Virginia is there is a 20% chance of having 4 seasons (eg. seeing snow) which I love and I have the Shenandoah mountains an hours drive which is pretty nice. I'm definitely looking at getting away from the urban area though.

I watched parts of one or two episodes and nope. Not for me. The woman who bragged about throwing the football through a hoop the furthest than anyone else then completely missing it with every throw........ the human cannonball guy who had to have that 2 minutes of scheduled drama... nope. The look of "oh my gawd!" that's sooooooooooooooooo over exaggerated on all the judges faces. Just. Can't. Watch.
