I think you have to pick and fall in love with your light fixture before you decide! Once you have it in hand, you can really play around with how high to hang it. The mirror and shower doors are the last things to go in usually so you can see how your vanity/backsplash/etc. work on the wall before having to decide. The fixture I bought has 4 individual handblown glass globes that can hang either pointed up or down (very modern) and I realized that I like them down more but DH is very tall-oops. I had the electrician move the box up to suit my needs and to cut the hole in the mirror is only around $50 so affordable to have it "custom" done. Just be careful not to go too close to the edge, the mirror guy said he had to have at least 3 inches from the edge to do a cut out. Now that I am getting close, I am not sure that I am going to do a full wall mirror afterall-lol. The trend seems to be for nice framed mirrors and I am finding a bunch I like!

I would stay away from the mirror stores as they would expect to get designer premium price. As was mentioned previously, contact any local Glass supplier and they will be able to custom cut one for a fraction of the price. In addition, most commercial glass suppliers will be able to supply mirrorized break resistant glass or synthetic materials that would insure a much greater service life.

We have one and do check our images for a variety of reasons, but don't do it every day. As someone said above, jeans and a top most days - not much to check. What strikes me with most comments is how hard we are on our own beautiful selves. At the risk of sounding like a Pollyana (how many are going to get that reference these days?), let's spend more of our time in 2019 loving who we are and, even, how we look. To me, you are all absolutely gorgeous.
