I love the pictures LLF ~~~ we have had over two feet of snow.... in the month of DEC... and Jan started off with another inch!!! but we are going to get that rain that you are getting Linda..... it will rain here Fri Sat and Sun... 1st time it could melt all that piled up snow that are about 10Feet tall!!!! CJW: Gosh, it must've been 2001 or 2002! Definitely been a while... I can;t decide if I should fly or drive. I was thinking of flying, because I can just buy a ticket really early, but then i'd have to rent a car to get around,a nd that's just eating into the orchid budget. Also, I wouldn't have to deal with airport security or anything. Last time I went, I had my bag searched because I bought two kilo's of sphagnum and put it in the checked luggage. i got back to Texas and that bag was all jumbled. They probably thought it was marijuana.... I may drive. I like road trips. Last time I went to SoFla I drove. Well, three of us went a took driving shifts... -Cj

Hi Linda! I'm so happy you downloaded the messenger and you found me! Now we don't have to bore the forum with our ongoing small talk. haha. No on the most part I have had excellent trades in my years in GW. I only had 1 lady cheat me. She said she had sent out to me and never did. She did receive what I had sent her. So all in all don't let being cheated stop you from all the good traders that are out there. They're far more good traders out there than bad. That's all I need is addicted to yet another type plant! I already am with AV's, Strep's, Hoya's and miniature orchids. That's more than enough to coo over and keep me busy! haha. Plus outside I'm nuts about Clematis. I have lots of those scattered all over my yard. They do well here in Oklahoma and are pretty to boot. See ya in chat!,,,Debbie

Hi Mantis, weather is normally sunny and about 72 this time of year. It was cloudy/rainy and 65 most days. They said it hadn't stopped raining since May. Very abnormal for them. Honestly, I didn't bring home too many ideas from what I had seen. Sure, if I had a huge area where I could replicate some of their long sweeps that would be great. Overall it was eye-candy. Perhaps as I ponder my pictures something will pop into mind that I can put to use in my garden. I found that with the Chelsea Flower Show, while much more prim and proper so to speak, I brought home many ideas from that.
