Does anyone have calacatta gold tiles for backsplash?
Comments (11)I just realized I did not answer your question. No, the two are different. I am not good at posting pics so here is a link to kitchens with Carrera and also with Calacatta Gold. There is also a Calacatta Green which is what I was really hoping to find a small slab of. Here is a link to images of Carrera marble: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&source=hp&q=carrera%20marble%20kitchen&aql=&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi Here is a link to Calacutta: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&um=1&sa=1&q=calacutta+gold+kitchen&aq=f&oq=&aqi=&start=0 Here is a link that might be useful: Carrera marble kitchen images...See MoreMSI Calacatta Ida vs Calacatta Montage
Comments (28)I found this thread when searching on Houzz for Calacatta Ida, just saying thanks to everyone for the information sharing! I have a few quartz colors by MSI that I'm considering (and a few by Cosmos). Since I think this thread is about a year old, I was curious if there was an updated list of the MSI quartz colors that use Breton technology, so I emailed MSI. After a few frustrating email exchanges (the customer service rep on the email had no idea what I was asking for based on her replies) someone from MSI called me and said they do not give out the list because it is proprietary information She said once I narrow down my choices I can email them a list of colors I'm considering and they will let me know which of those use Breton. She also tried to tell me that it doesn't matter if it uses Breton, all MSI quartz are covered by the same warranty, but I feel if the product is superior to begin with (and fabricated and installed correctly) there is less chance of something going wrong and needing to use the warranty! Plus in my experience, many companies make it very hard to use the warranty, they come up with excuses. Just my opinion. Again thanks to all contributors on this post, very helpful with my decision making! :-)...See MoreHow does Hanstone Calacatta Gold compare to Silestone’s Calacatta Gold
Comments (4)Well, I’m not forcing anyone to comment, so why do you feel obligated to comment on my post?? I noticed that you never answer the question people ask about but instead give your standard answer of telling people to go with natural stone instead of quartz and blah blah. There are many reasons why quartz is very popular in kitchens, even though it’s not perfect. You didn’t need to understand it… I’m just looking for feedback on whether one manufacturer’s stone is better than others, while still getting the look I want for my kitchen. And if you don’t like quartz then you don’t have to use it. Simple, right?! If people ask about quartz and you don’t like quartz, why don’t you just keep on scrolling instead of giving unsolicited advice about something totally different?!...See MoreMSI Calacatta Delios vs. Miraggio Gold
Comments (26)Thank you! I am not sure of the brand of the cabinets, but they're frameless white shaker (not custom). The handles are Liberty brand, Artesia model in champagne bronze. I got them from Home Depot and I chose them because my faucet and pot filler (Brizo Litze) are hard to match so I only had a few choices....See MoreA S
