Kitchens Appliances Design Dilemma

need help with matching or different soap dispenser for kitchen

My soap dish dispenser part of it broke off and it's sharp. Kohler no longer makes this color that coordinates with the faucet. It's called vibrant brushed bronze. Any suggestions what to do im place of the soap dispenser or to do a color that doesn't match? Any and all suggestions pls.

is there another bronze tone from another company that is close? there should be.

go a dispenser that is very simple and low profile.

Both of these are a vibrant brushed bronze. would this work?

Look on amazon, you will definitely find something close in color, the only person that will care or see a slight color variation is you. It will take a day and a half before you dont care of notice either. lol

Can anyone recommend a dispenser with a LONG spout? The one we have now (Price Pfister) has an utterly useless 2" spout. I have found a 3 7/8" spout, also 3 1/2", but am wondering if there are any that are longer. The new sink is 10" deep. We weren't going to get a new soap dispenser, but after reading this thread, I thought, "I don't want ugly bottles on my new granite!" I could do a rack mounted on the sink cabinet door, but I think the dispenser is neater :-) It just needs a long spout so it can actually squirt dish soap into the pots, instead of dribbling down the side of the sink. Will definitely get a NeverMT--so glad that I heard of it here!

Taggie: hahahaa. Yes, I think he would notice, because he would be the one installing them. Ã¢ÂÂswitch the top part in for the stainless one and not mention a word about it. Don't know how observant your DH is, but mine would never notice itÃ¢ÂÂ But you know, the water filter faucet is starting to leak a little (wink wink wink)Ã¢ÂÂ¦especially when I bang it w/ my big metal pan!!! Hahahaa Breezygirl: oh, IÃ¢ÂÂm way past year 2012 birthday and anniversary already. My 4 girlfriends and I are heading to South Beach for our birthday celebration next month. For our anniversary, I got my beloved Vitamix Blender (oh how romantic). Christmas 2013 present = IÃ¢ÂÂm getting the Blum Servo for the hands-free trash pullout. As for the handles: funny you mentioned it. Our friend came to help install them this morning. He didnÃ¢ÂÂt have enough time to do them all, but he strategically did not do any of the uppers so that he didnÃ¢ÂÂt have to fight me on installing them horizontally. I didn't mention that I hate wasting stuff. Yes, I can Freecycle them, but...still wasteful. thanks, Amanda

jshore, i just finished our kitchen and have the grohe bridgeford pull down faucet and i LOVE it!! i have it in polished chrome and did buy the matching grohe soap dispenser (polished chrome) and i think they look beautiful together. got them at irawoods, the dispenser was 65.00, free shipping and no tax. yes you can find polished chrome elsewhere, just make sure it is what you want and the finish is good so it won't rub off. good luck!!

@Shannon_WI, she wants to “ fill up the sink.” In this age of great cleaning dishwashers, I don’t know why she’d need to. Just scrape food bits into the garbage, and load into the machine. No rinsing or soaking needed. Even when soaking a few pots, all you need to do is fill the pots, not the whole sink. And, a splash or two of soap goes a long way.

Are you sure that's vibrant brushed bronze? It doesn't look like this Kohler 3-1/16 in. 16 oz Kitchen Soap Dispenser in Vibrant Brushed Bronze.

There appear to be a number of bronze-tone, deck-mounted soap dispensers on Build that are similar to the faucet.

I asked Kohler customer service and they said it is vibrant Brushed Bronze bro Zoe.

I have Kohler’s Vibrant Brushed bronze Artifact soap pumps (the glass ones) next to my Delta champagne bronze faucets and it is a very close match. That said, eBay is your friend if Kohler has discontinued that finish. I am surprised. It was very popular, and gorgeous. Moen used to have a color that was even closer, but IIRC it has also been discontinued.

As has been suggested, if you can’t find a good match, go with low profile ORB to blend with your counter.
