You guys are good! That picture of The House of Seven Gables is perfect to show the "drops" known as acorn drops or pendant drops. Our house is very close to the one above --a side entrance garrison with 4 windows on second floor, but with a very high pitch roof (like the Gables House) that has a third story that used to be an artist's studio. The house is stained black and similar to the Salem colonials, which is the reason I am looking to put only 2 drops one on each end of the overhang. Maureen in MA
