I think your biggest problem are the meatball shrubs and the horribly mutilated trees.

Those columns are the wrong style for the home.

I wouldn’t use gray paint. It’s at the end of its fad lifespan, plus your house looks great already.

As other have said, you are in dire need of new landscaping. Those meatball shrubs are bad and what are the little trees in the foreground? When they are leafed out, do they overhang the sidewalk and block the view of your house/front door?

The foreground trees are crapes that have been repeatedly topped. They're both ugly and too short for this house. Please choose a couple of tall "shade" trees to place toward the sides of your home and pull the crapes.

I agree (mostly) with Rachel Lee - the columns seem a bit off for the rest of the house. I'm thinking perhaps if they were painted white they might not seem as foreign to the rest of the house. Would also suggest that your front door and door trim color match the color of your windows. Your brick is ok but a bit dated because of its color. Would you consider painting? I also agree with other posters - your landscaping could use some updating.

Your house has nice proportions, very nice walkway and lamps by the doors, etc. I agree the color of the front door could be improved. Brick color is okay. The "y" pieces at the top of your columns are odd -- could you simplify them to be more plain white, straight up and down?, such as these:

For your landscaping, do you want to maintain the shrubs in their rounded form -- that means trimming them every year. If so, they're okay; and the edging looks nice and neat. I'd tuck in a few tulips or daffodils around the feet for a bit of early color. If you want more help with landscaping a picture from a bit farther back would help people get an overall sense of your front yard.
