The great FSC rose garden pruning workshop is Saturday, February 26. (Rumor has it that some garden clubs have announced it as the 20th. It is the 26th!) We invite volunteers to this event. It's a good way to learn to properly prune your roses, and it's a nice volunteer effort for the college. Starting 9:00 a.m., Florida Southern College campus, Ruth's Rose Garden. We'll try to have the grass parking lot open for our helpers (google 915 Frank Lloyd Wright Way, Lakeland). Master Gardeners, Rose Societies, Garden Clubs, and interested individuals are cordially invited!

We'll have pruning equipment available, but if you want to bring your own clippers, gloves, etc., that's ok. We'll have Lysol for sterilizing equipment.
