We walked around the entire lake seeing all the monuments. It struck me this one seemed unfinished/temporarily set there..like there should be more coming. BUT he's the only one that's wasn't a president there so I guess that's saying something.

This is a bit of a stretch but all I’ve got. On MLK Day of Service, one project offered to volunteers is clearing weeds and vines off local trails. Heres one of them.

I don't have anything for this theme today, but seeing roxsol's picture reminded me that I lived in San Francisco at the time that Mayor Moscone and Harvey Milk were assassinated. I worked just down the street and all hell broke loose when that happened. I also had met Mayor Moscone and shook his hand when he was running for Mayor. He was a nice man. What a sad and chaotic time that was. :(
