Kim, Yes i made the quilt,and the uncle sam on the porch i got at a yard sale several years ago for 3.00.When you turn him over it's an easter bunny.So in spring i display the bunny,til after easter,then turn him over to uncle sam. I still have several more patriotic cross stitch things to put up,but i have to wait til i recover from surgery.I also recently started adding Red to my kitchen so i can carry the R/W/&B out there as well. I wish I had such a skill. I did learn to crochet as a teenager and made a purple shawl in the shell pattern. Last year I thought I might try taking it up again but quickly realized that I don't have the patience needed, I did make a couple of nice squares that I use under some ceramic pieces I have. :) A couple of years ago I bought some yarn from the alpaca lady that is a vendor at our farmers market. I loved that it came from her animal and it is the natural color of this particular alpaca. Then I sent it to my good friend who is a wonderful knitter and she made a neat hat for me!! I love all the things you guys have made and the admire the skills you have. Oh and I see that I am wearing earrings that my friend made for me as well!

Just took this one today. Stuff ready to be put in recycling boxes. The sparkly wine was given to us at Christmas and because of the ’old booze’ thread I opened it last night so it wouldn’t be sitting around gathering dust. We had one small glass each, didn’t finish it and the rest went down the drain. Felt good!
