@lindac, thank you!! Yes, once upon a time our family was large enough to take up that table and more. ;) I know that's one reason my mom wants to keep and restore it. I will look for someone to create leaves with an apron. I never have it without at least one leaf in it anyway. And, I am hoping to use it fully extended in our next home.

Hello, I have a questions regarding the style of coffee table I should choose. Our living room is a narrow 9'10" by 21'. We've ordered a small sectional wich is (if you're looking at it from the front) 93" on the left by 111" on the right. The lll" part will just fit almost perfectly in width of the room. I'm unsure what style of coffee table to use, normaley I'd use a rectangular one and have the longest portion set up agains the longest side of the sofa, but I can't do that in this case because the room is so narrow. I wasn't sure if round or square or what exactly would look best, and leave the most room. Any suggestions welcome! Thank you!

@Jodie Teeters, @Gargamel, @User Thanks! My kid helped me install it today. When he was a toddler we had huge, ott birthday parties with tons of balloons. He has outgrown those now, thank God, but I told him we can still be reminded of those days because it looks like a big bundle of balloons floating in the air. Next up is clearing everything off the piano and adding a tall lamp.
