High humidity inside Florida house

We recently moved into a 1,900 sqft one-level home built in 1997 between the beach and marsh in northeast Florida. While an older unit, we had the AV serviced and was well maintained and functioning given its age and proximity to beach (salt air). We had no issues with indoor humidity during the hottest months of the season (RH inside maintained at 45%) but now as we are “in between” seasons in Florida - where outdoor temps are 60-80 degrees, our indoor humidity can be 60-65%. We don’t open windows due to the humidity still being higher outside, and have ceiling and floor fans to circulate air. We always run exhaust fans in kitchen and bathrooms. If we run the AC for longer, the RH stays below 60%. I’m fearful of mold / bacteria growth and other damage, but am not sure what is causing the higher levels during this time of year. Am I paranoid? We can talk to our AC company but when they last checked it out, everything was fine. Thoughts?
