Can you iron fabrics that have been silkscreened?


These are decorative Christmas wall hangings from over 50 years ago, made in a silk screening class. I made one myself, and my aunt made another, much longer one.


The small one is on felt, the long one is on fabric that's a tight weave; it could be quilting cotton. Feels like cotton. The instructor would have made sure we were using fabric ink, not paper ink.


"Someone who shall not be named", must have folded them up roughly when packing them up last year. Both have been hanging for over a week, and are still wrinkled.
