January in my 2021 hosta garden
Comments (28)Snow falling and in the 20's here. Love your hellebores. I've gotten more last year since I love how they look in the garden--however, some do have a habit of growing vigorously and I've had to divide and send some to a niece. Funny thing about those 30 foot long leashes--we have some owners on our street who have them. Unfortunately, they do let their dogs wander up to our house and yes leave a mess. One guy has three golden retrievers who get their leashes tangled since they are so long. It never seems to bother him that the dogs are wandering all over our yard, even when I am out there working in the yard. Some people just don't care. Our dogs were always on shorter leashes. Anyway, love your flowers, they look so bright!...See MoreMay 2021 in my hosta garden
Comments (82)Yes! I love tarsiers and lorises! Here is an Eastern screen owl. How I wish I had one of these in my yard. They are voracious vole hunters. https://abcbirds.org/bird/eastern-screech-owl/ They have the cutest trill. They shiver while they trill. They are little owls. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ADtk37HFmq4...See MoreJune 2021 in my hosta garden
Comments (46)Utog, I have so admired yours and others Parisian Silk so much so that I ordered one. Unfortunately the vendor said it did not come through the winter well so they cannot ship it. I told them to pick a hosta for me letting them know I have space for sun tolerant as well……..sigh……..will have to wait another year. I could find it elsewhere maybe, but still waiting on two orders……one includes Tattoo……. :-) debra...See MoreWhat are your top 3 hostas in your garden in June 2021
