A few years ago I gave the cast iron skillet with a cookie mix to a friend who raved about how wonderful it was. It's a great gift.

Give it with one of those silicone handle-wraps if they come that small, and maybe a Thermopen! Maybe a cute trivet/hot pad.

Perfect!! I have two that are huge cast iron fans and have seen these offerings on shelves but they want soooo much for an item that won't have a ton of applications. This price is worth the risk!!

They have those here at Walmart, $5. It really looks like a CUTE gift! The skillet would be just the right size for a single serving omelet. Nice!

I bought something similar years (decades) ago for my girls for Christmas. I wonder whatever happened to those cute little skillets.

Hope you have better luck with them, than I did. I have always loved the catalog and they

have lots of neat things. This year, I ordered 7 items from them...November 1....have had

"will ship soon", "out of stock" and another "will ship by 12/15" from them. I am pretty

sure, they will not be shipping anything. Not sure how wide spread this shipping

problem is, but it is a mess for us right now.

Bpath, I had it sent to my granddaughter as kind of a Christmas gift afterthought. She has a hooked hot pad that I made for her. I like the idea of the silicone handle-wraps, although I've only seen the regular size. Her birthday is next month. :-)

I have one also, very small but I can cook two eggs or one grilled cheese in it. Great for sauteing smaller amounts of your veggies. For me it is useful and I think cute.

I ordered the retro Christmas tree as a favor for my holiday table. They are 2xs the size I thought they would be!!! Shipping was not a problem on them...but now I have ordered those skillets, TWICE! uggg (I was half asleep,didn't know if I hit 'order'!!). Trying to cancel an order with them IMPOSSIBLE. I am sooo not impressed with their no customer service. I saw the walmart skillets and have never been interested. For some reason this thread inspired me. Now I regret it. Hope the order comes as I also ordered an item for my boss's gift in the same order!!

I was at the At Home store recently and they had several of the little cast iron skillet kits. I bought one for my friend who loves to bake as a little extra gift. Very cute.

You can also buy those little skillets at BB&B, Walmart and CVS.

You can but they are never under $4 which is the deal put forth. The size of the skillet also varies...mine are on the way I was told!!

I've never seen them anywhere . . . but then I haven't spent much time in stores since the pandemic began.
