Hi Patricia. Great to meet another color lover! I love green too! That green makes me happy. I assume you will repeat it a bit to make it feel at home. Right now, it's lonely. Take another picture with some green pillows, throw, lamp, or something in there and try the green paint app again. Thanks for moving on from grey! I hope this becomes a trend.

I have to agree, its very nice to see someone paint a bright happy color. The green is very pretty. I am not a big fan of green at all, in any shade or brightness, although, I could probably live with that color for a while, or also a lime green. Along with the pillows, an area rug in front of the couch, with some of that color in it, would look nice too.

I also love color (anything not gray lol). It is a little intense. Can you try lightening it by 25% so it isn't such a close match to the green in the art?

I had a similar angst over wall color in a laundry closet. This is how it turned out…without and with the light on. I opted to colorize only the top half to help the white appliances blend in. It also worked because of overall traditional swing to the house. And I use evergreen a lot in my rooms, because with evergreens outside, it fits in place. Also...as I said... I love green!

Thanks! It's not quite done. Today I am testing the rod placement with a shower curtain rod to make sure it isn't too high for me. I think it's fine and a nice brass one will go in tomorrow. I love evergreen and brass. The door has been tricky to design around but great in actual use. Here's a picture with doors closed in my entry hallway.

​Looks to me like you are drawing inspiration from the painting in the eating nook. Cool idea. Are you going to add more orange and honey too? Are you going to pick up the very soft pale blue in the sky?

Nothing wrong with the green itself , but it is the wrong green to work with the floors and the sofa.

I agree with judianna. I like green too, but on my monitor that green does not compliment your furniture. Maybe the color pros on here can offer some other suggestions.

Sea Glass paint colors are very coastal and work great with gray.

There are so many beautiful greens that will be impactful, but I think this shade overwhelms the room/furniture. If wanting intensity, maybe consider something like below which just feels softer.

In regards to cushions, be careful not overdo the same color, as it‘s important to incorporate other shades and interesting designs, mixed and matched.

Here's my favorite green, but it is probably too dark for your application. I tend to like very dark colors. My bedroom is charcoal gray.
