I've had that happen. Last thing I lost were my good glasses and after weeks found them in the zipper section of my purse ?? I hope you find them.

i think it’s a corollary of Murphy’s Law that as soon as you post about it, they turn up.

I did find them. I walked into my bedroom just a few minutes ago, glanced over to my dresser and there they were. I swear I feel like I am losing my mind. I am relieved because I really didn't want to have to contact the doctor and go through the hassle of getting a new script. Glad you found your glasses.

I once lost a credit card. Used it to pump gas. When I later realized it was gone, I called the gas station, also searched the card, hugh and lo.

Wound up cancelling it. Months later, DD was using my car and found it

I try very hard to not leave things in arbitrary places. Things have a place and I put them there.

Of course you didn’t look in the bedroom as you never leave them there.

I find I can’t mutitask any more. I have to stay focused on on thing at a time.

I know that feeling. I have lost things before and looked everywhere, and then they show up, right where they were supposed to be all along, and where I had looked multiple times. My husband used to laugh at me about that, until it happened to him too.

I bet you found it in the last place you looked...for the third time!

LoneJack, why is that?!? Lost items can be like cats, they just magically appear, sitting there like they’ve been there for 20 minutes.

I lost my mind years ago and I'm still waiting for it to reappear :-p

With me it was my driver's license. Ordered a new one and then found the old one the next day. Oh well, I like the new one better anyway 😉

satine, you've got a long way to go to catch me....I lost my glasses for about 6 weeks. I looked *everywhere* except of course where they were. It was most frustrating as I hadn't left the house. Finally found them upstairs in the attic where I'd gone to the old file cabinet to look up some old papers, and I have to take the glasses off to read, so I put them down up there. I'd completely forgotten about that little side trip!

I lost a pair of glasses on the boat last year. I felt sure they were there, but never could find them. I finally went to Zenni and replaced them.

DH found the original pair a few weeks ago. There is a small cubby hole near my side of the bed that contains some seldom used plumbing. He was poking around in there and *poof*, my glasses appeared. Certainly not a place I would have thought to look.

I told him to leave them on the boat, since I've replaced them. Will I be able to find them again?

When I misplace things I blame it on the Gadget Gremlins. This past weekend I found my favorite bathingsuit. I thought I had left it at a hotel back in 2019. I swear I had looked in the place where I found it and it was not there until yesterday. Darn Gadget Gremlins have a sense of humor!

Ever since my cataract surgeries, reading glasses are what disappear. I have them all over the house and in our cars. Yet, I can never find them when I need them. I wear them on top of my head, and hooked onto my shirt. I am constantly patting my head and my chest to see if I'm wearing them before going on a tirade. It's incredibly frustrating.
