Entry way rug ideas please!

I recently changed the rug in my sitting room and need to find a new entry way rug. The entry way leads into the sitting room. The sitting room rug is very neutral but I’m having the toughest time trying to find an entry way rug that works with it. Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

Maybe consider the same rug you have but different size or a runner. Does this seagrass with black trim fit with the look you're wanting maybe for entryway?

Have a look at Ruggable.com. So many choices and they are washable which is so perfect for an entry way rug.

Here are some I saw that seemed to be in the right colour family. Most come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Rectangular, runners and round.

Hello, it really depends on where you live (what zone) how much light it gets whether all day, early in the day or all day, etc.... you might look in to a dwarf pygmy tree or consider a little color and get a taller planter with a decent diameter and relocate this planter. Something like this would be very pretty and give some color.

You want it to be cozy and inviting but what do you want/need the space to do? Start there before you buy anything. Do you need office space? Do you have or need a place to hang guest coats? Would you use it as sitting/entertaining space or is your lifestyle such that it would only collect dust while you use the space more connected with the kitchen? I could see it as a lovely reading retreat for adults or kids or adults reading to kids with bookshelves and comfortable chairs - but that fits my life.

Scrolling through the photos my first thought was it would look nice to have a plant or flowers for some softness. The table is pretty ornate so I'd keep the top simple and less. The last photo is better balanced. I'd actually lower the flowers a few more inches in the vase.

Hi, the door on the right leads to an entrance way for our tenant upstairs, so that is off limits and the door to the left leads downstairs to the basement which is for the downstairs rental unit. What is shown in the picture is literally the only space I’m working with, unfortunately, which has been a challenge! Just looking for ideas what I can put on that wall.

The new rug is too small. Try it in the entry and get a larger one for the sitting area. You don't want the chairs to look like a group of fat ladies testing the water with their feet. They need to be fully grounded on a rug.

There are plenty of neutral rugs out there that might work well in your space. We agree, the current rug might be too small for your space, so definitely try it in the entryway and see if you can get a bigger one for the seating area. Here are some ideas from a few designs of ours.
